Create high-quality lead magnets in minutes that your potential customers will love using Chat GPT. Lower your cost per lead and get more customers than ever.
Lead magnet. So in this tutorial, we’re going to go through the process of using Chat GPT to come up with ideas for a lead magnet, and then also to help you actually create it as well. And what exactly is a lead magnet. So let’s get this straight, just in case you’re not familiar with the term, all it is is basically something that entices your ideal customer to give you their name and email address, and in exchange, you’ll be providing them with something of value, such as a checklist, or an eBook, or a white paper, or report, all of those things. And chat GPT, of course, is brilliant at creating all of that stuff. But let’s first go deep into why you would want to create a lead magnet in the first place. Well, the obvious reason is that it’s going to help attract targeted leads. You’re going to create something of value, potential customers of yours are likely to want to download, so much so that they are willing to give you their name and email address because it has to be good. And the better it is, the better content that you’re going to provide, and the better that your content is on your landing page where they go to get it, this will really help you get more leads for less money.
And of course, that’s a good thing. And it basically helps you create an email list. And an email list just can provide so much value for long term revenue. I mean, I’ve had people join my email list. They’ve been on there for two years, and then they decide to purchase. You just don’t know when someone’s ready to buy. So constantly creating an email list is just going to end up filling that pipeline and giving you a constant flow of revenue in time. And it also establishes yourself as an authority and a credibility with credibility. When you’re giving away something and it’s full of valuable information that demonstrates your expertise on a subject, people will then look at you as the person that they can trust because you’ve shown you know what you’re talking about. So here’s some examples of lead magnets. There’s quite a few here. We’ve got ebooks, checklists, webinars themselves. I mean, a webinar, yes, it’s usually like a presentation, and then you’re able to sell a product at the end of them quite often. However, if you’re giving away valuable content during that webinar, it still is effectively a lead magnet, and people are giving you their name and email to sign up as well.
Giveaways. If you’re doing prize giveaways and things, the chance to win, people will give their name and email for that if it’s a good enough prize. Tools or templates like maybe calculators, video series. This is another really good one. Some free training that’s hidden behind a wall. They just need to enter their name and email address to access the training. Email courses, another good way of doing things. And chat GPT is great at creating email sequences, as we’ll find out in another tutorial section. And then industry reports, case studies are another good example. If you can put together something that shows how you’ve helped another customer, then that’s going to be a really good lead magnet. Newsletters. If your newsletter is providing valuable content every month or week, then people will give you their name and email address for that too. Free trials. Now, depending on what your business is, offering a free trial could be good. In my case with fast funnels, obviously, any software platform, then giving away a free trial is a great way to get someone in just to try out the software and then hopefully find it so useful they decide to then buy it.
Quizzes, another brilliant lead magnet. You’ll see quizzes all the time. Are you doing all the right things to get a good night’s sleep? Try this quiz. And now you’re getting all these people filling out, selecting the different things throughout the quiz. And then at the end, they provide their name and email address to get the results. That’s another great thing. Now, ChatGBT is great at creating all of those questions that you would then load into that quiz. So those are some examples. Now, what we’re going to do then, if we take a look at these prompts that are on the spreadsheet that are right here and available to download underneath this training video here. So first of all, I’ve put together a list of all of those different lead magnet types together with a more detailed description of each one. So you can take a look and think, Right, which one is for me? And then some prompts right here. And then this top one is again, one of my favourites is to actually have chat GPT to question us so that it can build then the perfect lead magnet of choice. And then we’ve got some example prompts here.
Let’s take a look at this one for webinar. Outline a webinar presentation that covers the top strategies for, and then your selected topic in your selected industry, including expert advice, case studies and live Q&A. So there’s lots of them as well. Another one here, video series script, a three part video series on specific topic for your industry, focusing on providing valuable insights, tips, and best practices to engage viewers. This is gold. This is this is gold. These prompts will really help you get the best out of chatGBT to produce some brilliant different types of lead magnets. So let’s first of all try this one out right here. I’m just going to copy it. And then we’ll go over to our beloved chat GPT. And then I’ll use four again, I think. We’ll use version four. And it says here in my prompts, I need help creating it up, but let’s just pick… Let’s say checklist. Let’s go with checklist. To use as a lead magnet for my target audience, which is I’m going to say busy mothers. Okay, busy mothers. Can you ask me a series of questions one at a time that would help me create a high quality lead magnet that would attract my target audience and wait for my answer before asking the next question?
Once finished, please then create the output. And i think the… Let’s have a look. I need help creating a checklist to use as a lead magnet for my target audience. Yeah, that’s fine. Okay, great. Let’s go. So let’s see what it comes up with. What is the primary challenge or problem that busy mothers in your target audience are facing? Just too many small tasks to do in all different areas of the house, from dealing with children, to cleaning, to cooking, to ironing, to washing, and not enough time. There we go. Thank you for the information. Here’s the next question. What are the top three goals or desired outcomes that busy mothers in your target audience would like to achieve? They’d like to be able to have more free time and to feel in control of the various tasks that they have to do and still have time for exercise and personal care. Can you tell I know this audience a little bit? Great. Moving on to the next question. Can you provide a brief overview of your product or service and how it addresses the challenges faced by busy mothers? Well, let’s just say, what do we put up?

Would you like to include in here? Not at this time. Understood. Now that I have good understanding of your target audience, their challenges, and your productivity coaching program, I’ll create a lead magnet checklist that can be used to attract busy mothers. That’s the perfect sentence that you want to hear, isn’t it? So here we are, the busy mum’s ultimate productivity checklist. Now, while that’s doing that, I want to also show you what I would do with this afterwards.
So in preparation for this lovely list that we’re going to get, I would go over to Canva and I would choose a book cover as a template. Let’s do that. We’ll go and find some a book cover that we… Let’s just say see all. We’ll pick one that looks like we could easily change it and switch it over to a mother. I actually do quite like that one right there. Let’s have a look. Lots of different ones. That would be really good if we just had a picture of a mother on there. So let’s just go with that. I’m going to customize this template. We’re going to build our really nice lead magnet here. So I’m going to change this picture over and I’m going to go and find myself a mother. So let’s go to elements and I’m just going to put mother. And then I’m going to choose graphics and take a little look at what we got here. I think this is quite nice. There we go. Let’s just enlarge that up a little bit like so. Bring that down. And then we’ll just get rid of these two bits down the bottom here.
And now let’s go back over to chatGBT and just take a look what it was saying there. We’re going to call it the busy Mums ultimate productivity checklist. That’s fine. Go back to Canva. And then we’re going to put… We’ll probably get rid of this top one. And then paste in the title there. We’re going to need to shrink that down massively. So we’ll pick, say, 32. Let’s go a bit bigger. There we go. Getting there, getting there, getting there. And then bold it up. I think that’s good. There we go. So now we’ve got that like so. That could be our first book cover right there. And then we’re going to add a page with the actual checklist there as well. The Busy Mums’ ultimate productivity checklist. I love that. Let’s just move this up a little bit there like that. There we go. That looks better. Now I’m going to go to templates. I like this template for the checklist. So here it is opened up. What I need to do now is just to go and grab that, go back over to our second page, paste it in, and we’re going to need that background there as well.
Let’s go and grab that and paste it in. Looks great, but it’s just a little bit too small. So we’ll extend it out and make sure we can just get it to the right size to fit the page. We’re not really going to be using, to be honest with you, that actual list because our content will struggle to fit in there. But if I just get it looking like that, and it’s not as such a to do. So we’ll just remove all these little lines here. I wonder if I can do all of them at once. Yes, I can. So we’ll just select all of those, delete them, get rid of that, put this back over to there. And I don’t think we really need all these checkboxes either. So I’ll delete those off, and then we can just create this really nice looking page that’s ready to go. There we are. Now all we need to do is just nip over to Chat GPT. We’re going to copy its list of things there. And then we can put some text in and get it looking great on the pages here. So I’m just going to paste that in.
Obviously, right there that is going to be definitely a little bit too small. So we’ll crank up the size a little bit. There we go. And just adjust it a little bit, really. I think that’s pretty good. We can move it in a little bit there. And then I’ll just pull down this one. There we are. And increase that font size just so it fits there like that. That’s perfect. So there it is. That is now ready to go. We’ll delete this one off. Don’t need this extra one there. And we’ve managed to create our lovely looking lead magnet. And what we’ll do is we will get this. Let’s just move this back over to here in focus as it were. And then we’ll go to Share, and then we can download it as a PDF, which is just there. We will use the standard version, and then we’ll download that. Now, once we’ve downloaded that, you’ve got your lead magnet and you can use whatever system that you want to to deliver that. So maybe you’re using WordPress or Unbounce, or Leadpages, or Wix or all of the other crazy amount of different platforms that you can use to do this stuff.
But I’m going to use FastFunnels. And also, if you wanted to give FastFunnels a try, you’re very welcome. There’s a free trial, but I’ll give you this template as well. This is my lead magnet template. It’s been proven to convert really, really well. So we can basically take this funnel right here, have somebody download that eBook by uploading it first. So I’ll go to Settings. I’m going to upload it right here, and we’ll add another folder. We’ll call it PDFs. Now I can just upload that file that we created just there. There it is. I don’t think we’ll call it that, though. So let’s rename it Mums Busy List. Let’s just call it that. There we are. And then that will upload in the background very quickly. And then now that’s available for us to use. We would also probably want to use it to create an actual front cover here like this to have on your page. Well, that’s no problem. We can then download just the first page. So just that one page. And this time, we’re going to say, perhaps that it’s going to be a JPEG, I think. We’ll go with JPEG and then download that too.
So we’ll download that. We’ll call it book cover. Like that. And now we’ve got our book cover as well that we can use here. So we’ll replace that with our book cover, upload it into images just here. There we go. And you can make this more flashy. I’m just really ripping through this to show you how it’s done. But there it is like that. And then, of course, we’re able to use a chat GP now to create all of this written content right here. So if we go over now to this same page, same chat, and we’ll just ask it to create a headline for that particular page. So could you create a headline for the lead magnet download page that would entice someone to download this free PDF? Here we are. And we can see, remember, you can also ask for variations if you’re not happy. There we go. That looks good. And it explains why as well that it’s good, which is always useful to understand its thinking. So I’ve noticed that chat GP does use unlock quite a lot. So I’m not quite sure why it must be a very popular type of thing to use.
There you go. Look at that. Unlock the Secrets to Stress Free Productivity. So now we’ve done the headline. Another thing we can do to make it look really nice is to change the color of this green, and let’s use a color that comes from this image. So what I use is a free Chrome extension color dropper tool. It says pick color from the page. And I’m going to go with the color of her trousers there. There we go. That’s done. And now with styling in fast funnels, you can just go to color palette and then just paste in that code of the trousers there. There you go. And then we just click Confirm, and now it’s just changed it to match. And not just this, it’s changed everything as well, like all these little lines here and stuff, too. So it looks really nice and neat now. And then we would simply adjust the pop up page as well. Let’s do that. Let’s go to the opt in page. Sorry, here it is. Look at that. That’s the pop up. All branded in that color now as well. And then I like to use something called Smart mockups, which is a really good way to get people reading a book, looking at a computer screen, and then actually have that lead magnet right there in the picture.
And then once they’ve filled this out, we can automatically fire off an email in the automation section here. And it tells you what every step of this does. But the bottom line is, once they’ve filled out that form, we’re able to automatically just send through that eBook, and we can pick the eBook just here. Now, when people press the button right here, they will… If we just open up this button section, you’ll see your PDF. If you go to File and in PDFs, there it is right there, the Busy Mums Guide, and there we go, done. And you can customise all of this. You can customise this email and obviously use ChatGPT to help fill out the emails as well if you need some other additional things putting in or any of these other emails that carry on going after here to nurture your lead and then hopefully turn them into a customer. So this will come with full instructions as well, by the way, this template. If you want to use it, you won’t just be left to your own devices. I’ll make sure that you get full training on how to use this template and how to use fast funnels to do this with it.
So that is about it for lead magnets and how you can use Chat Upt to come up with ideas for lead magnets, and then also to help you produce the lead magnets. One final thing that I will say is you can also use ChatGPT to understand your entire business first and then suggest some lead magnets for you. And the way I did that is to use this website, which is called To The Web, so it can scrape your website. So let’s say that I wanted to scrape the whole of FastFunnels. You literally put the URL in there, you click Convert to Text, and then all the text appears underneath there like that. You can copy the text just literally with one button at the top here. In fact, I think it is. There you go. Copy all text. You can paste it into chat GPT like this. So you can just paste all the content in from your own website. And then I use the command here based on the content provided from my website about my company, and then I’ll put the name in and you put your brand in. Please provide a table with the various lead magnet types in column 1 and suggestions for what to create in column two.
The lead magnet should attract my ideal customer. And it’s done that for us as well. Look at this, ebooks, checklist, webinars, everything that we talked about, out, and then it’s come up with all these ideas. So for example, with the email course, five day crash course on building high converting funnels. That’s really good. So what do you do? You then take that idea and then say, can you build me an email course five days long for this particular title right here? And then we’ve got reports, the state of funnel building trends, stats, and insights, and so on. But this will really help you create a lot of s of different ideas for different types of lead magnets. And I hope you find it very useful.
